Foreshore foraging

To forage is to get outside, in your urban or rural environment, to open your eyes and to seek out the food that is growing around you that you can access for free. It’s a way to make a connection between your environment and to the food on your plate; to make nature into a treasure hunt for the tummy.

With a foreshore forage we'll sensitively explore our patch of Jurassic Coastline from the woods to the shore; looking at seaweeds, sea vegetables and what the hedgerows have to offer - learning skills in seashore foraging, identification and how you can harvest and prepare these wild edibles for eating.

Our half day foreshore foraging course in Dorset is £60pp. Head on over to our bookings page to book yourself on.
