Fore / Adventure | The story behind the brand

Fore / Adventure | The story behind the brand

Fore / Adventure is run by us; Dan and Jade Scott (with our three small girls usually one step ahead!) and our multi talented team of helpers, we are based in Studland, a beautiful sandy peninsula in Dorset. It is here that we get up to a whole heap of wild food focused adventures on our coastal patch, from sea kayaking to snorkelling, feasting to fishing, bushcraft to beachschool, and wild food to wild camping, but the common thread that ties our adventuring days together is that we love the simple things and we want to show people that adventures can be simple, with a bit of a nudge and a helping hand they can do it too and with the skills they’ve learnt they can keep on doing it long after they’ve left us.

Britains Best Walks with Julia Bradbury | kayak & fish at Old Harry Rocks

We always knew our adventure stomping ground in Studland bay in Dorset was something pretty special. It marks the beginning of the Jurassic Coastline, a UNESCO World Heritage sight, for one. But for two, our patch of Dorset wild also happens to be home to an iconic landmark Old Harry Rocks, filled to the brim in myth, magic and legend, with pirates and the Devil himself making their shady contribution to the history of our home. With all this in mind it was little wonder that Julia Bradbury decided to choose our special spot for her first episode of the new series of Britains Best Walks and we were delighted to be invited to join the crew for the day and feature on the program.

Fore Keeping It Real

Fore Keeping It Real

It was with some surprise that we stumbled upon our best nine IG images of 2015 at the beginning of 2016 and we have to say they weren’t the ones we would have thought would make the cut. It just goes to show that people will engage with different content that you put out there and what you think will be the shot that wows, isn’t always the case which is rather refreshing to say the least!
