Take To The Sea!
Our Kayak tours use sit on top kayaks which are awesome for kids, beginners and anyone seeking to see the coast from sea level. We generally use double kayaks, though we have single and triple kayaks available, depending on the group. Our two tours both take in awesome Old Harry Rocks! Our guides will entertain you and the kids with facts about wildlife, as well as tales of pirates and smugglers!
We think it’s the ultimate Family Adventure! Our 2 Hour tour is suitable for ages 8+ while the Half Day option caters for older families and is suitable for ages 12+. It’s worth noting we need an adult on the water with any under 18s, and kids under 14 will need an adult in a kayak with them.
If you’re looking to learn a new skill, or fall in trying, we recommend our Intro to Stand Up Paddleboarding. SUP is probably the world’s fastest growing watersport! It’s easy to see why- it’s great for core strength, balance, but it’s also loads of fun! Learning to SUP in Studland Bay is calm, sheltered and shallow- our sessions are suitable for ages 12 and up.
Explore Dry Land
Prefer keeping your feet dry while still embarking on great family adventures? Want to connect your family to the food they eat? Join one of our foraging and wild pizza workshops which will encourage them to consider where their food comes from, get them excited about nature and foraging, and maybe even get them to eat something green!! There’s no minimum age for this session, meaning no one misses out!
We also have Bushcraft sessions suitable for a range of ages. Our Seasonal Special Family Bushcraft runs in certain school holidays and is suitable for little ones aged 4 and up. We’ll explore our spot of woodland, teach shelter building and fire lighting techniques, as well as other age appropriate bushcraft skills. We also feature some seasonal activities or crafts, like witches broom making at Halloween!
