This foraging course in Dorset is a great way for you to learn how to identify the edible, medicinal and poisonous plants in the wild, and is the ideal introduction for all beginners who want to develop their interest and knowledge of foraging, also suitable for families. Hunt out wild greens amongst the hedgerows and scour the shoreline for edible sea vegetables.
We make these foraging walks interactive and engaging for all ages and these shorter courses are also ideal for young children, as Beach and Forest School practitioners we can make them fun and engaging. The session will end with us showing you how to use some of the foraged ingredients we have shown you to make pizzas in our wood fired pizza oven, great fun for all ages!
Depending on the season we will be learning about both edible and poisonous plants, trees, mushrooms, hedgerow plants, berries, nuts, sea vegetables, seaweeds and more. We look forward to sharing our passion for foraging with you!
£55pp all equipment included. Head on over to our foraging page for more images and info. We also run other foraging courses, kayak foraging and forage and feast events. If you are looking for a group experience we can host these as private courses for you (subject to group size), get in touch to discuss with your group size and preferred dates.
