Kayak Fishing & Foraging in Dorset

September 26 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm BST
£75
Kayak Foraging Sea Food Dorset Course

Join us for a unique kayak fishing and coastal foraging adventure in Studland, Dorset, exploring the waters and wild coastline around Old Harry Rocks and Studland Bay.

Our qualified kayaking instructors are trained by Fore Adventure founder and expert forager Dan Scott, combining local knowledge of wild plants, edible seaweeds and the coastline with practical kayak fishing skills.

From your kayak, you’ll learn to fish using handlines, with the chance of catching local species such as black bream, seabass and mackerel. Along the way, we’ll pause to identify and gather seasonal edible coastal plants and seaweeds, discovering some of the wild ingredients growing along this remarkable stretch of the Dorset coast.

What we catch and forage will always depend on the season, tides and conditions, which is all part of the adventure. If we’re lucky enough to catch something, you can take your catch home to cook and enjoy.

This half-day kayak fishing and foraging experience includes all the specialist kayaking and fishing equipment you’ll need.

Want to stay for the feast?

On selected dates, you can extend the experience with our Kayak Fishing, Foraging & Feasting event, bringing together the day’s fishing and foraging with a wild food feast by the sea.
