As beach school practitioners and qualified Ethnobotanists we make these foraging walks interactive and engaging for all ages and these shorter courses are also ideal for young children to introduce them to foraging as a family which is a lovely way for families to bond and spend time together, as well as learning a new skill that they can all continue to do together for years to come.

Depending on the season we will be learning about both edible and poisonous plants, trees, mushrooms, hedgerow plants, berries, nuts, sea vegetables, seaweeds and more. We look forward to sharing our passion for foraging with you!

'Going foraging with Dan is like having Jamie Oliver and David Attenborough as your guide. He's funny, he's good at handling groups, and he really know his stuff. Our three-hour walk took in sea lettuce, sea beet, three types of wild garlic, navel worts, four types of edible seaweed, razor clams, two showers, an Early English church and leek and potato soup - with wild garlic. The most fun Sunday afternoon I've had for along time. Thanks Steve' April 2018
