Bushcraft Adventures In Dorset

Bushcraft Adventures Information

Join our bushcraft Courses in Dorset. We love to be immersed in the woods, getting our hands dirty and teaching outdoor survival skills from tool use to shelter building on our bushcraft courses in Dorset. We deliver high-quality sessions from our private woodland spot in Dorset for all ages and abilities.

Bushcraft Tools

On our bushcraft courses we cover the main tools used in the bushcraft environment – the knife and saw. We believe with these two tools most jobs can be completed, from splitting wood to intricate greenwood carving.

Water Purification

With water being the source of all life we also practice different ways to ensure water is ready to be used – using different water filtering and purification techniques (we strongly believe in regular tea breaks and the kettle is always on the fire!). On our bushcraft courses, we will give you the skills you need to ensure you will continue to use after your time with us.

Wild Food

All of our outdoor experiences are centered around people coming together and enjoying a new environment and food plays a big part in that. If you want to learn more about wild foods and foraging join us for the full-day bushcraft and wild food course to extend your knowledge further. On this whole day, we teach you new survival skills to share our ethos, such as making pot hangers and fire lighting to enable you to learn the skills you will need to cook the food you learn to forage.

Dan, who trained with the well-renowned Woodcraft School, holds his NCFE Level 3 in Bushcraft and Level 4 in Ethnobotany and is more than passionate about the subject. Even when they’re not working, Dan, his partner in adventure Jade, and their 3 small humans can be found having fun in Dorset’s woods!

You can rest assured the rest of the team is equally as committed to teaching and sharing their knowledge and love of the subject, and as with all our activities we are fully insured and our fully trained staff operate in line with industry-standard best practices.

Bushcraft Adventures Reviews

“Loved it, loved it, loved it. Outdoor survival skills with Fore Adventure in the woods was fantastic. We learned so much and made the best shelter under a tree with both of our boys. They used to stare at their tablets given any chance, now they love to get out with the dog in to our local woods”

Jason P

“Thank you so much for a heartwarming bushcraft experience at the weekend. All four of our children (and my wife) had a wail of a time. Thoroughly recommend Fore Adventure.”

Elana K

“That was the best day, thank you so much. Nettle tea is now a staple on our camping weekends. Learning about the food growing around us and cooking with it on a campfire was utterly eye-opening. We will be back again for the seasonal bushcraft experience with the kids”

Max R

“The Halloween special bushcraft session is the best thing our family has done together all year. The kids are still telling everyone they can about it. I highly recommend this activity to parents and their families – you won’t regret it”
