#Mywildlife | The Wildlife Trusts
When we were asked to take part in the Wildlife Trusts #mywildlife campaign by the lovely folk at Dorset wildlife Trust there was no one better than our chief salty sea dog to step up to the plate (scuse the pun!) to share his love of wildlife and wildfood. The Wildlife Trusts want to show how much nature matters to all our lives, so they’re showcasing hundreds of stories from all walks of life to show how nature is helping us all, everyday. Here’s ours;
From foraging to fishing, beach school to bushcraft, kayaking to coasteering, wild food to wild camping we have it all here on our little spot; within toe dipping distance of the sea, a hop, skip and a jump away from the heathland that hugs the harbour and a wee stroll behind the dunes that takes you into a woodland wonderland, it’s all there in abundance and we can’t get enough of the good stuff.
Wild places keep our world rich with wonder and healthy food.

What’s your wild life? Tell us why wildlife or a special wild place matters to you or share your story in social media using #MyWildLife.
We get up to a whole heap of adventures on our coastal patch but the common thread that ties our adventuring days together is our die-hard love; food – we believe in making that connection between our environment and our plate and if you want to learn a little more about what we get up to and share some of this wild stuff with us drop us a line and we can get crafting your very own adventure so you can have a slice of the good stuff too.
