Spring Forage & Feast – Studland, Dorset

Welcome the arrival of spring with us at Spring Forage & Feast, a relaxed and memorable wild food experience set in our beautiful corner of Studland Bay.

Hosted by founders Jade and Dan Scott, this special seasonal event begins with a gentle foraging walk along the shoreline and hedgerows, where Dan will share his knowledge of the edible plants, seaweeds and wild ingredients that grow around the Dorset coast.

Dan has spent years exploring this landscape and loves showing people how much incredible food is growing quietly around us. Along the way you’ll discover what’s in season, how to identify it safely, and how these ingredients make their way from the wild coast onto the plate.

After the walk, we’ll return to our seaside pavilion overlooking the bay, where you’ll be welcomed with a handcrafted wild cocktail. You’ll then meet our resident chef, who will be preparing your supper in the open kitchen using seasonal local ingredients and inspiration from the foraging walk.

Once everything is ready, settle in and enjoy a beautifully prepared three-course meal, shared together in a relaxed coastal setting.

These events only run a handful of times each year, celebrating the changing seasons and the wild ingredients they bring. Spaces are intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate, so if it sounds like your kind of evening we recommend booking early.

Dan has shared his passion for wild food on programmes including Countryfile, Rob & Romesh Vs and Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted, but these events are a chance to experience it properly – out in the landscape where the ingredients grow.
